 Sales Support Coordinator

SUMMARY: CCMC, one of Canada’s leading integrated sports marketing companies has an immediate sales support position available for a detail-oriented individual to be part of our integrated sponsorship sales team. The ideal candidate would be highly motivated, efficient with multi-tasking, very process oriented with a proven track record and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced ever-changing environment. Ability to help with creative and producing decks is essential. Familiarity with digesting research and analyzing stats is key. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Provide sales support as needed, including research, proposal development, concept ideation, analytics, etc.;
  • Complete ownership of contract process. Including, but not limited to: o Creating contracts for all integrated and media properties (using existing templates);
    • Facilitating completion of these contracts which includes multi-party facilitation.
  • Research and generation of leads with companies with potential to advertise against a number of sport properties, including event, online, broadcast and print sales;
  • Primary support of Vice President, Sales
  • General support of CCMC Sales Executives;

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Contribute to planning and execution of select special events;
  • Assist in preparation of post season reports for assigned accounts.
  • Administrative tasks around the office

QUALIFICATIONS: 

Education and Experience: 

  • Post-secondary degree in marketing, communications, sports management or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience;
  • Minimum 2-5 years project management/administrative experience;
  • Understanding of sponsorship marketing, leveraging and valuation.

Job Specific Skills and Abilities: 

  • Excellent attention to detail 
  • Must possess strong written and verbal communication skills;
  • Must be well organized and demonstrate an ability to manage multiple projects with minimal supervision;
  • Understanding of online, broadcast, print and event sales;
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills;
  • Successful candidate will be very familiar with Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint);
  • Ability to multi-task and work under pressure.

WORKING CONDITIONS/REQUIREMENTS: 

  • Position would require full time attendance at Head Office located in Etobicoke, ON.
  • Ability to work some nights, weekends and holidays as needed.
  • Must have access to a car and a valid driver’s license.

CCMC has immediate sales positions available for the right candidates to be part of our Canadian Hockey League and our SCOREGolf sales teams. The ideal candidate has a track record of over achievement working in a sales environment selling to large corporate accounts preferably within the media and sponsorship industry though not required. They are comfortable having their compensation directly tied to results and are willing to build their portfolio of clients through cold calls and prospective leads.

CHL Properties Role Responsibilities: 

  • Research and generation of leads with companies to sponsor the CHL and its member clubs
  • Development and customization of sales presentations to clients and agencies
  • Orchestrate presentation and facilitate meetings with clients
  • Manage and foster top level relationships with clients to build their relationship with CCMC and the CHL
  • Work closely with Corporate Partnership team to ensure fulfillment and delivery of contract requirements are met with exceptional
  • Sell a diverse and cross mix of sports property sponsorship rights & activation, and traditional & digital media
  • Meet agreed-upon sales budgets on number of different hockey and sports properties

SCOREGolf Role Responsibilities: 

  • Research and generation of leads with companies who see the potential of the Canadian golf marketplace and its five million+ golfers.
  • Development and customization of sales presentations to clients and agencies
  • Orchestrate presentation and facilitate meetings with clients
  • Manage and foster top level relationships with clients to build integrated opportunities utilizing SCOREGolf’s diversified traditional and digital media properties; and via extended partner relationships
  • Work closely with Corporate Partnership team to ensure fulfillment and delivery of contract requirements are met with exceptional
  • Sell a diverse and cross mix of sports property sponsorship rights & activation, and traditional & digital media
  • Meet agreed-upon sales budgets on number of different golf and sports properties

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Provide bi-weekly sales reports
  • Provide sales support as needed, including research, proposal development, concept ideation, etc.
  • Contribute to planning and execution of select special client events
  • Assist in preparation of post season reports for your assigned accounts

QUALIFICATIONS: 

Education and Experience: 

  • Post secondary degree in marketing, communications, sports management or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Some sales experience preferred
  • Candidates with some prior sponsorship or media sales experience will be strongly considered.
